SUMMER ACTING INTENSIVE FOR YOUTH
Join Owner/Director Bonnie Catterson Kent for this 3 week intensive in all things acting. From Improv to script analysis and character study, we will delve deep giving the students a leg up for performance classes this fall. Ages 10-15/200$

Our imaginative Musical Theatre program is designed to inspire and engage children ages 5-9 in the world of theatre. Through a mix of theatre games, character development, improvisation, acting, movement, and singing, students will:
Character Development: Learn to create and portray unique characters, understand their motivations, and bring them to life on stage through expressive voice and actions.
Improv: Build quick thinking and creativity through fun improvisational games that encourage spontaneity, teamwork, and confidence in performing without a script.
Movement: Explore the art of storytelling through dance and physical expression, enhancing their ability to convey emotions and actions with enthusiasm.
Fun with Singing: Discover the joy of singing a variety of songs, helping them find their unique voice.
Vocal Projection: Learn essential techniques to project their voice clearly and confidently, ensuring every word and note is heard by the audience.
Performance: Prepare and perform a short repertoire of modified classic rock songs, giving them the opportunity to experience the thrill of live performance and showcase their newly acquired skills.
Our program is committed to building confidence in a fun, safe environment where every child feels valued and encouraged. This nurturing setting fosters a love for the performing arts while developing essential skills such as teamwork, self-expression, and imagination. Join us for a journey of discovery and performance!

This course is performance based and a chance to work with professionals on a full length musical. Singing, dancing and acting- we will delve deep into each student’s skills and they will have the opportunity to audition for the role(s) they choose. It’s full on Rock N Roll with tons of fun songs from the 80’s. Designed for Pre-teens and Teens, this is an incredible ensemble piece where very performer will get their chance to SHINE! Improv, theatre sports, comedy and acting for older teens and adults! Whether you are an experienced performer or have never set foot on a stage in your life, this course has something for everyone. It’s about conquering fear, building confidence and a sense of community, and creativity. The skills you learn in this course will translate into all aspects of your life. Most of all, it’s about fun! Life is hard, this is a wonderful and healthy way to express yourself, get silly, and make magic! We will have an in class showcase for invited guests on the final night. Instructor is Laura Mudge with guest teacher Bonnie Catterson Kent.
